Acevedo, Mario
Mario Acevedo is the bestselling author of the Felix Gomez series. His novels include The Nymphos of Rocky Flats, X-Rated Bloodsuckers, The Undead Kama Sutra, Jailbait Zombie, and the new Werewolf Smackdown. He also has a new graphic novel Killing the Cobra: Chinatown Trollop. Mario is very active in the writing community, belonging to several writers groups including Lighthouse Writers and Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers (RMFW). He's the current president of the Rocky Mountain chapter of Mystery Writers of America. In 2009 he was named RMFW's Writer of the Year. Among other awards, The Nymphos of Rocky Flats was named by Barnes & Noble as one of the Best Paranormal Fantasy Novels of 2000-2009.

Anderson, Barth
Barth Anderson is the author of THE PATRON SAINT OF PLAGUES and THE MAGICIAN AND THE FOOL. Barth's short works have appeared in Asimov's Science Fiction, Talebones, Strange Horizons, as well as other magazines and anthologies. He's received several Honorable Mentions in the Year's Best Fantasy and Horror, and he won the Spectrum Award for Best Short Fiction in 2004. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife and two children.

Bates, Rebecca S. W.
Rebecca S.W. Bates lives in Boulder, Colorado where she raised three daughters and taught Spanish. Now she writes full time in a variety of genres. Berg, Carol
Carol Berg is a fantasy writer who lives in Colorado. Since Transformation was published in 2000, Carol Berg's novels have won the Prism Award for best romantic fantasy (Daughter of Ancients), the Geffen Award, given by the Israeli Science Fiction Society for best translated fantasy (Transformation), and the Colorado Book Award (Song of the Beast). They have been short-listed for the Compton Crook/Stephen Tall Memorial Award and for the Barnes and Noble Maiden Voyage Award, both given for the best first science fiction/fantasy/horror novel of 2000 (Transformation). In 2002, Restoration was short-listed for the Romantic Times Book Club Reviewers' Choice Award for the best epic fantasy. M.M. Buckner has published 4 novels: Hyperthought (Ace/2003), Neurolink (Ace/2004), War Surf (Ace/2005), and coming in November 2008 Watermind (Tor/2008). Buckner's writing has collected many awards and accolades. Hyperthought was a finalist for the Philip K. Dick award and a winner of the Southeastern Science Fiction Achievement Award. Carriger, Gail
Gail Carriger is considered by many to be the queen of Steampunk. The Parasol Protectorate series begins with Soulless and has been turned into a graphic novel and optioned for TV. Her young adult Finishing School series begins with Etiquette & Espionage and follows the exploits of Sophronia, a young woman who discovers her dreaded lady's seminary is a great deal more deadly than expected. In the Custard Protocol series, beginning with Prudence, Rue and her crack (or possibly cracked) dirigible crew get into trouble around the Empire on behalf of queen, country, and tea. Gail also has a full cast audio production of her YA sci-fi Crudrat.

Dale, Cory
Karen Duvall, writing under the pen name Cory Dale for her self-published work, is a multi-published author living in Bend, Oregon. Her Knight's Curse urban fantasy series was published by Harlequin Luna in 2011 and 2012, and her post-apocalyptic novella, "Sunstorm", appeared in Luna's Til The World Ends anthology in 2013. Her self-published urban fantasy novel, Demon Fare, will be available in print and as an ebook on December 20, 2014.

Gunn, James E.
University of Kansas English Professor Emeritus James E. Gunn, author of such books as The Joy Makers, The Listeners, Alternate Worlds: The Illustrated History of Science Fiction, Isaac Asimov: The Foundations of Science Fiction (1983 Hugo Award),The Science of Science-Fiction Writing, and Gift from the Stars, was chosen to be the 2007 Damon Knight Memorial Grand Master by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America for a lifetime's achievement in science fiction and/or fantasy. He's a past president of the Science Fiction Writers of America and of the Science Fiction Research Association. He's won many awards, for a variety of accomplishments including literary achievement and excellence in teaching. He founded the J. Wayne and Elsie M. Gunn Center for the Study of Science Fiction, and helped found AboutSF.

Warren Hammond is known for his gritty, futuristic KOP series. Kadrey, Richard
Richard Kadrey is a freelance writer living in San Francisco. He is the author of dozens of stories, plus five novels, including Sandman Slim (buy), Metrophage (buy) and Butcher Bird (buy/download). His Wired magazine cover story, Carbon Copy, was made into one of the worst movies of 2001. It starred Bridget Fonda. Sorry, Bridget.
He has been immortalized as an action figure.
Kadrey created and wrote the Vertigo comics mini-series ACCELERATE, which was illustrated by the Pander Brothers. He plans to do more comic work in the near future.

j.a. kazimer has won a number of fiction awards including the 2008 Paul Gillette Memorial Award, the 2008 Speculative Fiction Colorado Gold Award, and the 2010 SF/F/H Pikes Peak Award. Neville, Stuart
