Letter from the Editors
Dear Reader,
As we close out our thirteenth year of publication, we're pleased to present more excellent short speculative fiction with you. We share some tales which are not easily summarized...
- Undertow by Mark Bilsborough: A unique speculative fiction tale which harkens back to classic spec fic.
- Mission on Nemistat by Lisa Timpf: A space opera with a very unusual protagonist.
- Clinging by Joe Baumann: A fantasy which explores a world in which invisible things become visible.
- Ugly Earthling by Kate Sheeran Swed: A humorous SF tale with a twist on the old idea of 'ugly American.'
- Grounded by Editor Nikki Baird: An urban fantasy romance which empowers the protagonist.
And, finally, in our Editors' Corner Nonfiction section, Gremlin Editor interviews the Electric Spec Editors.
We hope you enjoy this issue as much as we did!
Thanks for reading,
The Electric Spec Team
