Letter from the Editors
'Twas the night before deadline
And the editors wondered
Would an E-Spec poem
Be such a blunder?
Common sense no deterrent
and having no masters
the editors pressed on
and created this disaster.
If you should ask:
What treats will appear?
Our presents are stories,
not flying reindeer.
First on our list
a hilarious story,
a tale called "Dennis"
by Nathan Ehret.
Like the season this issue
is merry a lot
especially Sarina Dorie and her
"Aladdin's Neti Pot."
The ghost of the past
brings Lane Cohen's jam;
Get blown away by
"Best's Laid Plans."
"Corrie's Song" is
Michael Haynes' tale
with a girl from the dead,
a pale nightingale.
The "Plight of Magi"
by Tyler Bourassa
features a heroine
who really kicks ass-a.
We interview author
Ms. Cory Dale
whose new novel will leave you
biting your nails.
In Editor's Corner
our own Lesley Smith
delivers a story
that should not be missed.
And to all of you we say
"Season Greetings!"
Have a New Year of happiness
with lots of great reading!
